2023/24 VJBL Tryouts
Monday 2nd October 2023 (Current Rep Players from other Associations Only)
Under 12/14 Boys (Born 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014) – 6.00pm to 7.15pm on TLC 1/2
Under 16/18 Boys (Born 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010) – 7.15pm to 8.30pm on TLC 1
Under 16 Girls (Born 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010) – 7.15pm to 8.30pm on TLC 2
New U20 players do not have an ID Camp.

What to Bring:
- Leather basketball (with name clearly marked)
- Water bottle
- Light/dark reversible singlet
- Players coming from another rep club must bring a completed permission to train form in addition to registering.
Pre-Rep ID Camp Information:
- Players who did not play for the Boomers VJBL program in the 2023 season must attend the ID camp so the coaches can show them drills that are done at rep level at a high intensity.
- A panel of coaches will assess each player on their own merits on the selection criteria to identify if they have the skills to attend the Boomers Rep Tryouts.
- Some feedback is given on the run during drills at the ID Camp
- There is no set number of players selected in each age group.
- The panel of coaches meet after the end of the camp and openly discuss the players who attended. The Basketball Development & Ops Manager has the final say on selections.
- Players selected & not selected are notified by email a few days after the camp if they are successful in attending Boomers Rep Tryouts in October.
