Baby Boomers is a program for our littlest Boomers, aged 3-5 years old. The program will give players some ball skills and the ability to train within a group, in a fun and safe environment.

AUSSIE HOOPS:
Aussie Hoops is Basketball Australia’s official introductory program, providing a fun and inclusive Basketball experience for 5-10-year-olds that serves as an introduction to a lifetime of involvement in the game

The Junior Academy is run by the Bulleen Templestowe Basketball Club for all players who would like to get extra training in to improve their skills and game play. The sessions will be run similarly to rep training sessions to give athletes an inside look into what to expect from elite training sessions.

COMPETITIONS:
PRIMARY SCHOOL BASKETBALL:
This after-school program encompasses 16 local schools with about 150 teams participating. The competition is open to all children from grades 1-6, playing on Mondays to Thursdays. Games are held at Bulleen Basketball Stadium, Templestowe Leisure Centre (TLC), Donvale Indoor Sports Complex (DISC) and Templestowe Heights Primary School.

JUNIOR DOMESTIC (EDJBA):
The Junior Domestic competition has teams for children ranging from Under 8s, 10s, 12s, 14s, 16s, 18s to under 20s. Junior domestic basketball is suitable for all skill levels from beginner to advanced.

SENIOR DOMESTIC (BTBL):
The Senior Domestic competition is for players (14yrs and above) that want to play. Teams can be formed with current/past players, friendship groups, returning rep players – or perhaps parents wanting to experience the sport for themselves! There is a Friday morning comp for women, midweek comps for women or men or mixed teams. Something for everyone.

JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP (VJBL) – REP BASKETBALL:
The purpose of the Bulleen Junior Championship Program is to develop the skills of teams, coaches and individual players to the maximum level that their ability permits. The program is designed for those who are committed to achieve, and who are prepared to work hard and make sacrifices to stretch their ability.

SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP (BIGV) – REP BASKETBALL:
The Big V is a semi-professional basketball league in Victoria, Australia. The league comprises 12 competitions. These competitions consist of both genders and incorporate three levels of senior competition and three levels of youth league competition.

The Boomers are teaming up with the Phoenix to bring the Heartland Hoops experience to our neighbourhood! This is a holiday program that focuses on learning new skills, whilst having fun with your basketball friends that caters to both experienced and beginner basketballers.
